Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? 

We’re looking for a creative and friendly Activities Coordinator to bring joy and engagement to our residents. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the Home Manager to design and lead a variety of activities tailored to our residents’ interests and needs.

Our residential home is in the beautiful High Peak, providing high quality residential, respite and dementia care to 36 residents. 

Activities Coordinator Contract

•        £11.44 per hour
•        16 hours per week
•        Pension
•        5.6 weeks annual leave (Based on a full-time contract)
•        Uniform provided
•        Onsite parking

What You’ll Do:

• Plan and Organize: Create and manage monthly rolling programs as well as individual activities, encouraging residents to stay active and maintain their hobbies.
• Foster Social Connections: Help residents socialize and enjoy their time in the care home through diverse activities that cater to all preferences.
• Keep Accurate Records: Maintain detailed documentation of daily activities.

What You’ll Bring:

• Valid Driving Licence: Essential for transporting residents or materials as needed.
• Event Planning Skills: Proven ability to develop and organize a range of engaging events and activities.
• Creativity and Confidence: A friendly, creative, and confident personality that shines through in your work.
• Passion for Elderly Care: A genuine interest in working with the elderly, helping them live life to the fullest.
• Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
