Community is the heart of everything we do at Loungers. We want our team to feel empowered to give back to their local community and support their local area and with this in mind all our Lounges are able to run their own events and fundraising on matter that are important to them and their customers.
To support this we have Regional Community Managers that oversea community engagement and local marketing as well as supporting with social media and email marketing.
Events regularly held by our Loungers include: Quiz nights, live music, book clubs, paint and sips, parent and baby clubs, bake sales and much more.
Every June, all of our Lounges take part in LoungeAid. This is our annual fundraising event where our Lounge teams choose a charity that is important to their community to support and raise money by holding different events. We’re always looking for ways to continue to empower our Lounges to do more good stuff for our communities and in 2024 have launched the Community Fund. This give each Lounge access to a £1,000 annual fund to use as they want to support a local charity or cause that matters to their community. This can include cooking for food projects, gifting vouchers to local charities or using the time to volunteer.
